The Story
Why an examiner started a driving school
Most driving schools teach you how to drive.
1Driving was built by the person who decided whether you pass.
Asif Zamir spent five years as a DVSA driving examiner. Five years sitting in the passenger seat with a marking sheet, watching people fail for the same handful of reasons over and over. Our entire method is built to eliminate the exact mistakes examiners mark you on.
Not dramatic reasons. Almost nobody fails a test by doing something frightening. They fail on junctions and lane positioning — being a little wide on a roundabout exit, hesitating where they should go, or going where they should hesitate.
Ordinary, fixable mistakes — the kind that no instructor has ever marked them on.
That became the foundation of 1Driving. We know the routes, the marking sheet, and exactly what the examiners are looking for; and we use it to pick every instructor and shape every course.
Thousands of learners have already trained using our examiner-led method.
Asif Zamir in London and Kamer Zamir in Birmingham. We have a diverse team of experienced instructors that have over a century of experience between them.
